Australian Government

visual communications, graphic & multimedia design

Animation created for the ‘Ideas Challenge’ promoting a more efficient and cost-effective strategy for running Australia’s overseas diplomatic posts.

Government agencies highly value graphic design and multimedia skills, and yet often do not have access to this expertise in-house. To ensure this deficit was addressed into the future, Zokitch is providing Design and Multimedia training courses for generalist public service staff, tailored for people with varying levels of experience working with Adobe Creative Suite. Interested in boosting your internal visual comms capability? Book a free info session

Zokitch created this headline encouraging staff to get their flu vaccination, softening up a serious subject by referring to the old children’s song "Shoo fly don't bother me"

The 'Domestic and family violence' project covered extremely sensitive and confronting issues and required tact and empathy. These are foundational values which support Zokitch Creative Studio and the project was handled with great care. Another motivating challenge for this project was the logistics around producing a low-impact environmentally friendly resource. Zokitch designed a unique creative solution that ticked all the boxes. Instead of using standard perspex brochure dispensers, Zokitch invented a fully recyclable paper-based product with a tissue box dispenser mechanism. Whenever a brochure is pulled out of the box the next one, cleverly folded, comes automatically into its place. The boxes were designed to be refillable and easily mounted using double-sided tape attached on the back. Zokitch also produced a large format poster to accompany and promote the brochure box. This product was distributed nationally and also in Australian Government diplomatic posts around the world. Most importantly, Zokitch sees this project as his small contribution to an important issue. Definitely something to be proud of.
